Ply It

Philippians 4:8…Whatever is true, honest, just, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praise worthy… think on these (8) things

fill your minds and meditate on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, the beautiful, things to praise,

Apply: To make request; To put to use; To fix closely; to engage and employ diligently; To busy; to keep at wor( http://thinkexist.com/dictionary/meaning/apply/)

Ply = To bend. To press upon, to urge, to use steadily, to work at, practice or perform, (http://ardictionary.com/Ply/8045)

Plywood is a type of manufactured wood made from thin sheets of wood. The layers are glued together so that adjacent plies have their wood grain at right angles to each other for greater strength. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plywood)

Plywood looks good, is generally useful and relatively strong:
That would be great if that phrase defined my life

These definitions clearly shows why we must learn, live, and use this verse
Glued together…They hold us together
Right…They are correct, spot on
Greater strength…They give us strength

I often need to be reminded… you know…hit by a 2X4 then I don’t still get it so hit me again… make it 4X8.  Plywood standard sheets are US 4x8 and that is the reference.  The words I shortened to 4 letter words.  Just about any “good” 4 letter word is a “good” one to think about and the book in 4 letters is a name so…
